Issue One Magazine UK - Quiet Storm

I was @ Borders a couple weeks ago and were looking through the fashion magazines and this one caught my eye. Issue One. It was thick, super glossy and every picture was editorial, high fashion looking. Mind you this magazine was about or almost 20 something odd dollars. as I flipped through I was captivated by the photography. Everything was high fashion and I love Ads and editorials. Here was one of my favorites from the mag. Please Click Pics For The Full Effect!

NOOKA

As a lover of accessories especially timepieces [I used to collect watches, sadly my collection is long gone.... Long story....] Nooka is a design company who has so far produced a a variety of gorgeous watches. they push the boundaries with their time pieces, in other words their brand tells time like no other. And their always doing collabs with other brands. Every time I see one of their pieces I fall more in Love. [Below are random peeks at their pieces.]

Evan Hecox

I was browsing around this great new blog I Discovered Plastolux, and I came across these great works that piqued my interest. Evan Hecox has this great pen and ink style that I love. If I had an apartment I would definitely hang some of his stuff around my space. You can see more of his work and purchase prints Here.

Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz is one young lady whose style I love. It's still hard for me to believe that she is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Her look is vert airy, bohemian and chic.

Superflat First Love | Takashi Murakami

First working with Louis Vuitton on '03 Takashi Murakami seems to be always everywhere. I first noticed him doing the art for Kanye's Album Graduation. And then I realized he was behind on those Multi-colored LV bags everyone was rocking a while back. His new film animation Superflat First Love [Superflat being the name of his style] is the sequal to Superflat Monogram['03]. I love his style of drawing. This is exactly the type of thing i'd love to watch all day. I like the Background music also. It goes so well with the interactions between the characters. Enjoy!

Mikael Jansson Photography

Love the photography work of Mikael Jansson. I came across his work in an Interview magazine and later did some research to see what he was all about. His images have a pattern of being dark and foggy and I love it. Check out his site to see more of his work.

Nike Gladiator Sandal

I Like These! Totally Unexpected. I Would have never seen Nike Taking This Route with a women's Shoe. They Still have that signature nike sneaker feel but in a sandal. I could totally see Rihanna or My Best Friend in these.

Sliced Bread Notebook Concept

Designers: Burak Kaynak and Cem Has (collab).

The pack includes 12 notebooks resembling a pack of sliced bread. Each slice/pad have numbers on them. 1 to 12. You can use each notebook for the related month. this theme of monthly note pads seems to be gaining, as I have seen several versions on different blogs. I think the notebooks are simple yet amazing. Very Good Design. More Pics Can be seen by clicking Designer Names!

Omelle

Two designers meet, share one vision, create some unique products and become successful. The story about LA-based luxury footwear label Omelle is not at all exceptional. But one view on the shoes of Cherise Angelle and Nicole LaFave is enough to see, that the design-team knows best about remixing Zeitgeist-designs with the likeability factor “innocence” while managing to add the extra portion sex appeal. This are tools for grown up Woman!

As Soon As I Saw these I thought of my Mom. [I get my love of shoes from her!] Each shoe is so her style to the T. I wish I could buy her a pair, She Would Rock The Hell Out Of these with some fly, fresh, fit of hers.... I Love good Design. Good Design Makes you think of loved ones while also inspiring you.
